Educational Session Announcement

Medicare Boot Camp for Hospitals

Date:     Monday - Friday, April 26-30, 2010

Location:     Water's Edge Resort & Spa, Westbrook, CT

Through the Connecticut Chapter efforts, CT HFMA is pleased to announce a nationally recognized Medicare educational program will be conducted here in state.  The HCPRO 4 ½ day educational session, Medicare Boot Camp for Hospitals, will be offered on April 26-30, 2010 at the Water’s Edge Resort in Westbrook Ct.

This session is usually offered at sites which require the additional cost of travel and lodging.  By sponsoring this session here in Connecticut, the chapter hopes that hospitals can spare the cost of air travel and/or lodging to permit staff to attend a nationally recognized quality program.

Other HFMA chapters have indicated this session to be of high quality with unusually high positive feedback from participants.  It provides a good framework to insure staff understand and are able to deal with the maze of Medicare reimbursement, billing and compliance issues.

The cost of the seminar is discounted both for HFMA members and/or early registration.  While registration fees are higher for non HFMA members, the cost of pro rated HFMA membership may be offset by the savings in registration, thereby providing greater value to your staff.
